Every product we cover is purchased with our own money, tested in our own kitchen for a minimum of 30 days, and compared against real alternatives. We tell you what’s worth your money, what isn’t, and why.

Our Testing Philosophy

We follow a consistent, documented methodology for every review:

1. Purchase: We buy every product at full retail price. We do not accept free samples or review units.
2. Test: Each product is used daily for at least 30 days in real cooking conditions.
3. Compare: Products are tested side-by-side against direct competitors using standardized criteria.
4. Score: We score on 5 dimensions — build quality, performance, value, ease of use, and durability.
5. Review: Findings are written honestly. If a product fails, we say so.

We’re a small independent team of home cooks and kitchen enthusiasts based in the United States. Our reviewers have backgrounds in culinary arts, product testing, and consumer journalism.
